Oracle SOA Developer – Contract
Timings: 2 pm to 11 pm IST.

Looking for a senior developer with expertise in Oracle's middleware stack for designing, developing, and supporting integrations. This includes hands-on experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Oracle Service Bus (OSB), and Business Process Execution Language (BPEL). Below is a categorized list of essential technical skills, focusing on development and support aspects.
Experience: For this role, we expect 5+ years of hands-on experience in these areas, with a focus on complex integrations and support in enterprise environments.


Roles and Responsibilities:
Oracle SOA Suite and Components
Proficiency in Oracle SOA Suite 12c, including BPEL Process Manager for orchestrating business processes.
Strong experience with Oracle Service Bus (OSB) for service mediation, routing, and transformation.
Expertise in Mediator for routing and transformation, Business Rules for decision-making, and adapters (e.g., File, FTP, Database, JMS) for connecting to external systems.
Knowledge of Oracle Web Service Manager (OWSM) for security policies.
Experience with Oracle Business Process Management (BPM) for workflow automation.

XML and Web Services Technologies
Advanced skills in XML, XSD (XML Schema Definition), XSLT (for transformations), XPath, and XQuery for data manipulation.
Proficiency in web services standards: WSDL, SOAP, RESTful services, WS-Security, WS-Addressing, and WS-Reliable Messaging.
Understanding of canonical data models and UDDI for service registry.
 
Programming and Development Tools
Strong Java/J2EE programming skills, including performance tuning, monitoring, and integration with SOA components.
Experience with development tools like Oracle JDeveloper for building and deploying SOA composites.
Knowledge of scripting: Unix Shell, WLST Scripts.
 
Database and Data Handling
Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, DML for Oracle 19c databases.
Data modelling skills: Integration with RDBMS like Oracle or SQL Server.
 
Architecture, Integration, and Support Skills
Expertise in error handling, fault policies, rollback mechanisms, and notifications in BPEL/OSB.
Troubleshooting and debugging skills for production issues, using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager.
Performance monitoring, and optimization of SOA processes.
Familiarity with middleware stacks (e.g., Oracle Fusion Middleware, WebLogic) and integration patterns.
 
Nice to have
Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Process Automation (OPA).
